Batteryholder

All my games have their batteries removed at the time of purchase so that no accidents occur with leaking acid. I've cleaned a PCB once and prefer not doing it again.

There are many variations of remote battery holders on the Internet and I'm not sure where I got the idea on how to build mine but nevertheless below are some pictures and instructions on how to build it.

Parts
4 cell battery holder with wires
Diode, 100V 3A (For it's size)
Alligator clips (Pair)

The diode is there to prevent the batteries from being accidentally charged by the machine while in operation, this is one of the main reasons old batteries start leaking.

Solder the diode into one of the cells in the battery holder and continue soldering the wires to the alligator clips. Use shrink tubing if necessary to cover any solder joints.

When installing into the game just clip the alligators onto the standard battery holder and place the remote battery holder in a plastic bag. Should the batteries leak the acid will not escape the plastic bag and your machine is safe.
