Very fast and flowy game but perhaps a bit easy. The orbit is superfast and smooth but hearing Rocky scream "Woweee!" each time you go around is truly annoying.

Finally sold this game in october 2009. The game always attracted newcomers but for me it just lost it's fun. Repetitive and boring gameplay with no wizard mode says it all.

Past & present issues

Missing lion

The lion used in the hat trick was missing. Created a replacement using a scan I found on ipdb.org. Roughly 2 hours where spent touching up the image before printing it on normal paper. I attached the paper cut out to the plastic sheet using transparent adhesive film and it turned out very good!

While doing this I also changed to rubber foam used to cushion the plastics when they drop down aswell as padding the wire keeping the arm in line.

50V lion coil

Although this is not really a problem I have experienced first hand it is obvious the previous owner did as the lion plastics were missing. It all boils down to DE for some reason decided to use 50 volts to power the lion coil instead of tapping in to the 32V used for the rabbit and rhino coils.

As it turned out the 50 volts was way over too much power thus destroying the lion plastics over time as well as snapPING Bullwinkles arn by the wrist. This is why I decided to modify the lion coil to use less power to possibly prevent more damages.

This is a very easy procedure as you only need to daisy chain the 32V supplied from the rabbit coil. Make sure to isolate the 50V wire with tape so it wont short out and damage the circuits.

Nell log not working

The Nell log is barely moving at all and I suspect the motor is toast, the gears are all ok. Disassembly of the motor will come up shortly, hopefully it can be repaired.. I'm not very keen on buying a new motor since it eventually will face he same fate as this one.

Puzzle VUK + broken plastics

The puzzle vuk had a bad spring installed and the defelctor was bent making the plastics covering it crack. I've re-shaped the deflector and installed a new spring. The plastics will be glued and eventually I going to try to reproduce a new piece.

Balls keep getting stuck next to the vuk when entering from the center shot. This happens atleast once per game but I have not yet taken the time to figure out why. A ballsearch will kick the ball back into play so it is not really a big problem except for the advantage it gives when this happens in multiball.

'B' & 'O' targets

The 'B' and 'O' targets guarding the entrance to the wabac ramp have taken such a beating that the screws holding them have unthreaded the holes. In a poor attempt at repair the previous owner installed longer screws which naturally protruded through the playfield. You can see the hole on the right above the 'B' and a big crack on the right above the 'O'.

I sanded down the pf underside and repaired the stripped holes using epoxy putty. After mixing the putty with my fingers I made a small roll that was inserted into the stripped hole and the screw was re-inserted to let it cure.

Playfield repair coming up..

Wabac ramp

The wabac ramp is cracked and a fairly large piece is missing from the left hand side as well as minor damage on the right hand side. The missing piece was repaired with a home made protector that fits in very tight and almost looks stock.
